We speak to Creative Director, Simon Bogle as we go behind the scenes to find out what makes themCV’s Leading Firm in the United Kingdom for Branding Services in the 2018 Digital Elite awards. Designing Your Future Headquartered in London, the team at Lemonbox strive to produce the best results on a consistent basis. Simon explains what methods the firm adopts which help them to guarantee a successful outcome when working with a new client. “Here at Lemonbox, we approach each project as though it is a partnership, and we liaise and direct throughout the process from concept to finalisation. Lemonbox covers all aspects from print through to digital including motion, video and copywriting.” In the long-term, Lemonbox’s aim is to provide a fresh alternative, both visually and with an identifiable tone of voice for the specific brand. At the heart of the company’s work, the team is always looking for the inspiration which will enable it to produce fantastic results, with creative direction as the key component. Simon goes on to explain how he keeps his team focused and motivated to deliver the best service possible to clients, citing the small team as integral to the success of the agency, as it provides Lemonbox with the ability to add and subtract team members to project when needed. “As an agency, we purposefully keep the team small expanding and contracting where necessary dependent on the project, which allows us to deliver a concise and unified solution rather than a cookie-cutter approach adopted by some others. Our nature is to operate with transparency throughout the design and branding process so that our clients know they are in safe hands.” Operating out of London, Simon notes that the marketing industry is constantly evolving, with new advances arising every day. As such, the agency must work hard to stay ahead of certain developments, and Simon commented on the fact that the team at Lemonbox provides clients global and otherwise with a wealth of strategies and options to choose from before deciding on the final outcome. “An aspect of our work which has been pivotal to our success is that we always have a finger on the pulse, not just with what’s happening now, but the direction a company may need to take to maintain its relevancy in an ever challenging space. “The industry is constantly changing as result of not only technology but the variety of marketing avenues that are available for any company. We make sure that the client is 1805CV18 approaching the right platforms with the right look and the right message for their demographic and beyond.” Communicating with each other and collaborating on certain projects has seen the agency achieve success on a daily basis. Citing the welcoming internal culture within the agency and the excellent cohesion amongst staff, Simon is confident that the excellent team in place at Lemonbox will continue to drive the team forwards. “Across the company, the team work together as a cohesive unit that understand that we do not wish to produce good work, we want to create great work. With a simple approach and a simple execution, we learn from one another every day. We do not hire staff for us to manage we hire them to be an integral part of a forward-thinking team, energy is key, talent alone is not enough.” Overall, having laid the foundations for a successful future, there are exciting times ahead for Lemonbox, and Simon believes the agency has plenty more to offer.
