Small Business Awards 2024 | 7 of their objectives, needs, and how the changes will impact the business in the future. “It is always important for me that any coaching or facilitation is aligned to the business’s core strategic objectives; in other words, if the development is not going to have an impact on performance in some way, then it is not necessary,” she explains. “There needs to be a clear indication of how this development will impact either the person or the business, or both. If that is missing, we run the risk of there being a lack of commitment to whatever development is suggested.” The industry is highly competitive, and it is vital that businesses develop strong relationships with clientele that will stand the test of time. Trust is an important factor in business development and is what drives the success of Blue Streak Performance. For many of the projects it undertakes, the client has worked with Michele for years, which enables her to instil trust within her working relationships. She has received many testimonials from clients detailing the success of their partnerships, and the level of trust that they have placed in her capabilities.
